Middle School Databases

A database is a site which stores information.  The benefit of using one of Sperreng's four databases for doing research is ALL the information INSIDE the databases has been verified as accurate by experts.  The district pays for access to this information, which it provides to your student free of charge.  These databases are not open to the general public.  Students can get much more accurate information when searching our databases rather than just "googling" the information.  Our databases also make it easier on the student to avoid plagiarism because the source citation is provided.

Students wanting to access the databases from home need to stop by the library and pick up a database guide.  Since databases are not open to the general public, they are pass code protected.  Students will need to get their pass codes from the  librarian before they can access the databases from home.
